SJK(c) chung Hua Miri was found in
1945, immediately after the Second World War.
Before World War II, there were two Chinese primary schools in Miri, i.e. Chung Hua School and Hua Qiao School. They were both destroyed during the Japanese occupation. After World War II, the local Chinese residents pool their resources and whatever was left behind from the two schools and started a new school - SJK(C) Chung Hua Miri. |
